Well this is kinda neat. This week I got the chance to do some artwork for a greeting card. The card is supposed to be for someone who is about to go through confirmation. I honestly wasn't too familiar with this religious ceremony, but now I have honored it with a greeting card so I am basically an expert.

I was given pretty strict requirements for the art, from content to color scheme, style, layout and so on. But I found a tiny bit of wiggle room to implant enough of my own style to satisfy my raging ego, and the end result is pretty seamless. There will be some major modifications to the artwork beyond what I did, and obviously there will be copy in lower half of the card, so the final product(if it's picked up) will look pretty different.
